"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you found out why." - Mark Twain

Paradigm Doulas was founded from my passion to serve my community and help improve birth outcomes. I believe that every family should have perinatal support regardless of social economic status. Throughout the past 13 years, I have served my community through various roles as a Naval hospital corpsman, medical assistant, community health worker, and fertility, birth and postpartum doula. My passion to help those in underserved communities stems from the obstacles that I overcame as an immigrant, Latina, Navy Veteran, wife, and mother of two.

My life's journey has driven me to become a passionate maternal child health advocate, pushing to dismantle institutional racism. Through teaching and community service, I will continue to be a voice for families in my community and throughout the country.
